Tiny Slideshow
Tiny Slideshow is made by one person, Heather Ring. Email is the only channel — there is no ticket system, no account to create, and nothing to sign in to. Write about anything: a problem, a question, an idea, or just what you think of it.

I need help
Something isn't working, or isn't behaving the way you expected. It usually helps to mention which photo source you were using (This Device, Google Photos, OneDrive, or iCloud), what you did just before the problem, and the version number shown under Settings → About.
I have feedback
A feature you wish existed, something that feels awkward, or a photo source you'd like supported. Feedback genuinely shapes what gets built next, so don't worry about whether an idea is big enough to send.
Common questions
Does Tiny Slideshow upload or copy my photos?
No. It never stores copies of your photos and never uploads them anywhere. Photos are displayed directly from the source you choose.
Why does iCloud need iCloud for Windows?
Tiny Slideshow reads the iCloud Photos folder that iCloud for Windows syncs to your PC. It never connects to Apple's servers itself, so iCloud for Windows needs to be installed and set to download your photos.
My Google Photos selection stopped showing. Why?
Google keeps a picked set of photos for about a week. Tiny Slideshow remembers your selection between launches until then. When it expires, the slideshow stops and tells you; choose Google Photos in the source menu and pick your photos again.
Will it stay on top of my other windows or keep my PC awake?
No to both. The window isn't forced on top of other apps, and Tiny Slideshow won't stop your computer from going to sleep.
Why don't my iPhone (HEIC) photos show?
HEIC/HEIF photos need Microsoft's HEIF Image Extension (free) and HEVC Video Extensions add-on, which not every Windows PC has. Tiny Slideshow skips HEIC photos it can't decode rather than showing a blank frame. Settings → Format support tells you whether your PC can display them and links to both extensions.
Which image types and how many photos does it support?
BMP, JPG/JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF, ICO and HEIC/HEIF, up to 50,000 images at a time. You can filter which types are shown in Settings.
